Urgent Care treats injuries and illnesses that require a health care provider's attention but are not life-threatening. Our urgent care team has the experience and expertise to provide high-quality, walk-in care for patients of all ages.
When you're sick, you want the comfort of appointments on your schedule. Find the relief you need at a time that's best for you with the convenience of online check-in. It allows you to wait on your terms, wherever that may be, and arrive at the clinic closer to the time that you can be treated. That means less time in the waiting room and less total time at the clinic.
UnityPoint Clinic offers online self-scheduling to give you an estimated time of when you can be seen. This can result in less time spent in the waiting room because you can arrive at the clinic closer to the time when a provider is available to see you.
Checking in online allows patients to schedule a time that works best for them. This means you can spend your time going about your day or relax in the comfort of your home or office instead of sitting in the waiting room. Additionally, most patients will spend less time in the waiting room after arriving at the clinic.
Online check in is meant for any type of acute illness that you would typically go to urgent care for. If you are experiencing an emergency, please dial 911. It is also not meant chronic issues or preventative care that you should be managed by your primary care provider.
You will get a text message at least 15 minutes (or longer if you choose) prior to when you should arrive at the clinic. You will be asked to confirm your reservation when you arrive.
